This weekend is the end of an era....I will be using my faithful TR909 for the very last time for a live set at Club 69 in Scotland, a fitting place to bring its finale... I paid £800 for it in 1992 from Merchant City Music in Glasgow...and since that day its been a trusty servant. You could say I got my money's worth :). It will now join the museum with the TR808. 4 weeks ago I released 'Planet Funk' on PokerFlat. Thank you to all for the massive support I got....but now its time to turn attention to the next single, my debut on Bedrock. Coming April 7th.

This Saturday, my Radio Drama residency returns to Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL)....we have Kirk Degiorgio taking time out of his 'Machine' parties to join us for his Tresor debut, alongside Christian Vance from Aril Brikha's Art of Vengeance label as well as Future Beat Alliance. Today is the day....my first single of 2014 and my 3rd single on Planet E. OUT NOW!

In 2006, I released my first single on Planet E. 'Renaissance/Rendezvous' was a great moment for my discography and I was very pleased to see it being well received. I wanted to bring some much needed soul and warmth to proceedings as I felt at the time there was too much stale minimal music floating around.

In 2009, I followed this up with a rendition (interpretation) of Carl Craig's seminal 69 'Desire' with my very own 'My Desire/Qualia'. This was a track I loved dearly and always messed around playing it in the studio, so when I decided to actually record some parts one day, one thing led to another and before I knew it, I had 'My Desire' in front of me. Very anxiously, I sent it off to Planet E explaining what it was in the hope I wasn't going to offend Carl or take anything away from the original. It was never meant to be a remix. I was ecstatic when I got the go ahead for the release, and to this day its one of my proudest moments musically in my career.

5 Years later, what to do next....

After a period of really empty creativity last year, I started to question where I was going...and after a good break to recharge the braincells, I realised I didn't have to plan anything...It was in front of me all the time. I had an -end of the night- sounding track in my mind, and Boom.. 'Its Not Over/Freq' was born. So it is with great pleasure, that I introduce my 3rd single on Planet E, 'Its Not Over' EP.

Release date of 'Its Not Over' on Planet E has been pegged back a week to 21st January....7 days will feel like an eternity to me, I just want it out :)

So, here it is....samples of my first EP of what is going to be a manic 2014.

It is with great pleasure I introduce my 3rd single for Carl Craig's Planet E label. 'Its Not Over' is my followup single to 'My Desire' and is released on January 14th 2014.

I wanted to create a really powerful 'end of night' track, almost song-like...and after a few months of writer's block, 'Its Not Over' was born.

To balance this, 'Freq' brings some real funk feeling to the mix with 'that' KMS style bassline...

Cant wait to get this into your hands!
