After waiting 5 years for an album from me, your all now about to get another one. Im very excited to announce the title is 'Serene', and is an epic musical journey of Ambient, Classical and Electronica. This will be my debut release under my new alias Vincent I. Watson, which I am reserving for my music of these genre's. It is also my debut release for the Rekids crew and will be released on the sub-label Pyramids of Mars in Mid February and will be in good company, as fellow label mate is Joe Claussell. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the end result and Im very much looking forward to hearing what you think early next year. New studio 99% complete...more space, and for the first time in a long time, i have 101, 303, 505, 606, 707, 727, 808 and 909 all running at the same time, as well as a few more bits :). Inspirational...

Now halfway through a total studio rebuild in a new room...why o why do i put myself through these heart transplants...better be worth it!

Later today, Pulse Radio will release a very special one-off Podcast that I made just before my album was released, featuring 30 of my best compositions in a kind of Story-So-Far discography mixed together in over 2.5 hours. Its an epic voyage of all the spectrum of electronic music ive been through to this day. A just incredible night at Tresor, i dont normally play as dark as that so it was a nice change...we all need balance right? A surprise 2nd DJ set after Jeff Mills finished early rounded off events nicely.

Bit of a change to tonights Tresor Berlin show, ill now be opening the Tresor floor at 1am and not playing in Globus room at 830am.

Just recorded a very special Retrospective mix for Pulse Radio featuring 30 of my best tracks mixed together. Its a nice story...I had to miss out a few favourites...but there simply wasnt enough time. Out next week...

Very personal post here...After a 5 year break, im about to release my newest album this coming monday. 'Every Soul Needs A Guide' is my most proudest composition in my career so far. I put every possible emotion, heart and soul into this album and perfected it as much as possible over the last couple of years until it was fully completed. The challenge is of course to get into the hands of all the fans who have bought my music in the past, and all my facebook friends and subscribers to make sure that they experience this album in its intended form. Im both excited and anxious about the reactions to the finished product and im greatly looking forward to hearing your feedback on it soon. Interference EP on Tresor is getting hammered..thanks to everyone whos blasting it out...

The digital proverb 'if you dont grow with the digital age you die' seems to have an achilles heel. There is nothing more horrid than releasing an album and have no physical product to hold....if that means rolling back 10 years and manufacturing even small amounts of CD's to get that, im all for it. I simply cannot imagine releasing an album and not being able to hold it in my hands. Thats not what its all about..Forget your money making exercises, forget beatport sales figures...think real world good feelings and reading a CD sleeve on the couch....imagine that!
